TERMS OF SERVICE - VINTAGE AMPLIFIER / RECEIVER / REEL-TO-REEL REPAIR
By signing below and/or leaving equipment, you agree to all terms:
1. ID & Address: All new customers must provide photo ID and proof of home address. Address on this ticket must match ID.
2. Work Authorization: List ALL work requested on front of ticket. Only work listed and approved will be performed. Additional faults found during service require your approval and may change estimate.
3. Deposit & Diagnostic Fee: 50% deposit required to begin work. A $75 diagnostic / bench fee is non-refundable once evaluation begins. If you decline repair after estimate, balance of deposit will be refunded minus $75. If you approve repair, $75 is applied to final bill. Special-order parts may require additional deposit.
4. Vintage Equipment Risk: Equipment is vintage. Parts may be NLA and require modern equivalents, with longer lead times. Pre-existing conditions, brittle plastics, aged wiring, and cosmetic wear are not our responsibility.
5. Payment & Lien: Balance due upon notification of completion. We retain legal possession of equipment until paid in full as permitted by CT law.
6. Pickup, Storage, Abandonment -
Due to limited shelf space, equipment must be picked up within 48 hours of notification of completion/invoicing. After 48 hours, storage is $10 per day. Items not picked up within 90 days of notification may be considered abandoned and may be sold or disposed of to recover charges, as permitted by CT law.
7. NO WARRANTY -
NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, DUE TO AGE OF EQUIPMENT. ALL WORK PROVIDED AS-IS. We are not liable for future failure of original remaining parts, loss of tapes/reels/accessories not listed on ticket, or indirect/consequential damages. Liability limited to amount paid for service.
8. Surveillance: Premises under video surveillance for security and legal purposes.
